1940s Hampton Tailored Jacket - Premium Check Wool

Thrilled beyond measure to release this LIMITED EDITION version of our new stunning 1940s Tailored Jacket. An authentic rework of a vintage original - this is premium tailoring crafted lovingly stunning 100% wool in a burgundy dark tone check. An item you will wear with pride and designed to be treasured.

A true labour of love on the cutting table, where every check is carefully aligned. This slower process is what gives the piece its premium feel.

Created with fans of authentic styling in mind, this jacket creates the classical 1940s silhouette with its strong double padded shoulders and slightly military feel silhouette. We have done our very best to retain the authentic features - including a 2 piece sleeve for a comfortable fit, faux pocket details (as was common at the time) 5 buttons and softly curved collar which looks super femme when fastened to the top. Looks equally beautiful when left open for a softer look.

You will love the triple dart detail which shows wonderfully in this deep ruby red - the pictures tell the story. Fabric is 100% wool from Yorkshire Mill Abraham Moons. Fully Lined.
